Dallas –
Luminant’s baseload power plant fleet, including two nuclear units and 12 lignite-fueled units, as well as multiple peaking natural gas units, provided much-needed generation today during ERCOT’s level two energy emergency alert.
The company commends its dedicated team of 4,000-plus employees for their hard work and diligence in maximizing generation throughout the alert.
Today marks the second time this summer ERCOT has declared a level two energy emergency alert.
