Dallas –

Luminant is continuing to work closely with the appropriate agencies as they investigate Friday’s incident. The company is also conducting its own internal investigation. Safety is our top priority and we are committed to ensuring the safety of our neighbors, our employees and our operations.

We will keep you updated as decisions are made regarding the demolition and reconstruction of the State Highway 322 overpass. In the meantime, if you have any questions please call Ashley Monts in Luminant’s media relations department at (214) 875-8010.

Finally, for the safety of our employees and our visitors, no unescorted guests are allowed on Oak Hill Mine property. Anyone who enters the mine must complete safety training and be escorted by a certified employee. These rules are in place to ensure the safety of our employees as well as any visitors and violation of these rules will not be tolerated. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
