DALLAS –
On Wednesday, Oct. 13, Luminant’s Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant will host a representative from the Nuclear Energy Institute as the nuclear energy industry’s Washington-based policy organization honors U.S. Rep. Chet Edwards for his strong and consistent support of the industry.
The award, known as the Nuclear Statesman Award, recognizes Edwards for his leadership and support of the nuclear energy industry and his championship of the federal government’s clean-energy loan guarantee program to promote and sustain the expansion of nuclear power.
Participants will be available for interviews following a brief presentation.
