Luminant has a long history of responsible stewardship for the air, land and water. The Texas economy, which already has the nation's largest demand for power, is projected to increase nearly 30 percent by 2025. The state needs clean, low-cost energy solutions, including coal-powered generation. Nobody has more experience than Luminant in using coal to generate electricity in an environmentally excellent way and with an exceptional track record of reducing emissions. At the same time, we are committed to technology development, renewable energy and zero-emission nuclear generation that will improve the quality of the environment for our Texas and global communities.
