Our new Luminant Power Track scholarship program is looking for a small group of select students who have an aptitude for hands-on electrical or mechanical work and thrive in a team environment. If that sounds like you, now is your chance to gain invaluable real-life work experience and develop a relationship that could grow into a full-time position upon graduation.

As part of this program, students will get a career "test-drive" offering on-the-job experience and fostering a relationship with Luminant that could grow into a full-time position upon graduation. Specifically, Luminant Power Track provides:

• A full scholarship, covering books and tuition, for a two-year associate degree in either power plant technology from Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas or electrical technology, mechanical technology or instrumentation and control from Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas.
• A paid summer internship between your first and second year of the program at a Luminant power plant, alongside an assigned dedicated, experienced mentor.
• A career "test-drive" that could grow into a full-time position with Luminant upon graduation.
