Luminant Offers Carbon Offsets from Wind Energy
Certified carbon offsets are available from Luminant's wholesale trading and marketing business, Luminant Energy.
By purchasing Luminant Green House Gas Renewable Offsets, customers will support currently available renewable resources as well as aid the development of new renewable resources to be built in the United States. As a greenhouse gas reduction provider, Luminant's carbon offsets are generated from renewable wind energy in Texas and have met the strict standards of the Green-e Climate Protocol for Renewable Energy.
Luminant GHG offsets are sourced from the output of two wind farms contracted by Luminant Energy, the Forest Creek Wind Farm and the Roscoe Wind Farm, both located in West Texas.
